What it does

Reconnect works before homelessness becomes entrenched, treating disconnection from family, school, and community as a prevention concern.

Who it serves

Youth who are couch-surfing, newly precarious, disconnected from school, or moving toward crisis.

Where schools fit

Schools can notice disconnection and help connect young people with trained community workers earlier.

What remains

Reconnect depends on trust, trained workers, local service capacity, and youth consent.
